Important information - Rental guarantee
A deposit equivalent to three months' rent may be required when rental conditions require an additional guarantee, particularly in the following cases:
- You arrive from outside the European Union to work in Luxembourg, and require a valid residence permit.
- Your new employment contract provides for a six-month trial period, and no pay slip is yet available.
In these situations, an additional guarantee is required, justifying a deposit of three months instead of two.
However, as soon as the employment contract is definitively confirmed, one month's deposit can be returned.
