Important information - Rental deposit
A security deposit equivalent to three months' rent may be required when rental conditions are not yet optimal, particularly in the following cases:
- You arrive from outside the European Union to work in Luxembourg, and must be in possession of a valid residence permit.
- Your new employment contract provides for a six-month trial period, and no pay slip is yet available.
In view of these factors, an additional guarantee is required, justifying a deposit of three months instead of two.
However, as soon as the employment contract is definitively confirmed, one month's deposit can be returned.
